SUPPLIES & PACKING TIPS

For easy access be sure to label all your packed boxes.  Use color coding, sharpie or stickers to mark each box to describe enclosed contents. Don’t forget to mark each box on multiple sides.

Make use of your clothing, face cloths, hand towels, bath towels and linens by wrapping your breakables!  Great for placing between flat breakable items such as picture frames.

Keep clothing on hangers and put a large garbage bag or dry clean bag over 5 or more articles.  Simply carry from one closet to the next.  Leave clothing in drawers and just remover drawers from chest to move.  Can also shrink-wrap full drawers for added protection.

When packing up dishes in a box, place hand towels, face clothes or bubble wrap in between and place dishes in box vertically to minimize risk of breaking.

Wrap your couches and mattresses for added coverage with fitted sheets, tarps, shrink  wrap or blankets.

When loading storage unit store all large items to rear of unit.  Use bureaus, stove, washing machine, dryer or table to stack boxes on top.  Be sure to put a towel, sheet or blanket under boxes to prevent scratches on furniture.
